Morris E. Harrison, Jr., received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1974 and graduated from the Georgia Institute of Real Estate in 1975. He is a member of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association and the Georgia Tech Athletic Association.
Morris is President and Founding Principle of RB Management Services Inc, a full-service property management company he established in 1991 in affiliation with Richard Bowers & Company. RB Management Services (“RBMS”) provides full landlord representation and property management services, as well as facility management, general repairs & maintenance, and construction services for property owners, institutions and developers throughout the USA.
As President of RBMS, Morris has established client relationships with Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Life University, J.P. Morgan, John Marshall Law School, Brown Realty Services, American Cancer Society, Piedmont Bank, Bank of America, Heller Financial and BB&T. In a crowded marketplace dominated by national developers and property managers, RBMS has taken its stand by delivering at the bottom line. This track record of optimizing operating expenses launched the growth of RBMS and continues to be the source of client satisfaction.
Prior to joining RB Management Services, Morris was Vice President of The Myrick Company for six years. He was responsible for the day-to-day management and leasing of over one million square feet of retail, office and industrial space, as well as large tracts of developed acreage in metro Atlanta. He represented companies including Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Bank Boston, Shell Oil Company, Texas Instruments and Northern Telecom in the management and leasing of their real estate.
Morris’ career also includes ten years with A.G. Spanos Development, Inc., one of the nation’s top five privately owned multi-family and office developers. Alex G. Spanos owns the Los Angeles Chargers National Football League team. Morris served as Director of Office Leasing and Property Management from 1976 to 1986 for Mr. Spanos. He led the construction, management, leasing and the sale of an Atlanta office portfolio of over one million square feet with clients including California Federal, Wachovia, Great Western Savings and Loan and American Express. Today, after 30 years Morris continues in consulting and sales of commercial property for A.G. Spanos Companies through RBMS.
Morris is a Registered Property Manager, Charter Member of Atlanta Board of Realtors, Licensed Commercial Real Estate Salesman, member of International Institute of Real Estate, Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), the International Association of Real Estate Executives (NACORE), the National Association of Industrial & Office Parks, (NAIOP), TCN, Sierra Club, Zoo Atlanta, the Smithsonian Institute and the Atlanta History Center.
