Donna White, Controller of RB Management Services, is a graduate of Kennesaw College with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She has a combined 28 years of business experience with 23 years focused in commercial real estate accounting. Donna holds a Georgia Real Estate License, is a member of the Atlanta Board of Commercial Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
As head of the Accounting Department, Donna has a long list of responsibilities for over 5,600,000 square feet of office, industrial, association and retail space. This includes creating and implementing budgets, monthly reporting to ownership, auditing of leases, enforcement of rent increases and collections and the auditing of all vendor, sub-contractor and utility invoices. She is also responsible for the auditing of insurance policies and additional insured policies as well as claims enforcement, lien waver enforcement and control of ad valorem tax issues which includes the establishment of property value with regard to the appeals process. Furthermore, Donna is an integral part of the due diligence process with regard to the acquisition and disposition of properties, inclusive of financing and refinancing. She has compiled and trained a staff of employees to assist in the daily accounting activities.
Prior to joining RB Management, Donna spent four years with LJ Hooker Corporation with divisions including International, Development, Homes and Financial. During this time she was responsible for divisional as well as consolidated financial reporting and budgeting. She analyzed development and construction job cost, reviewed and approved all operational accounting work, ensured payment of quarterly professional fees and US Trustees fees and prepared applicable reporting for 62 entities in Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Donna’s professional experience also includes five years in the preparation of consolidated financial statements for Lockheed ASC. She was in charge of administering and enforcing progress payment billings to the Department of Defense, as well as assisting in DCAA audits. She spent much of her time compiling formal proposals and negotiating final overhead rates for cost reimbursement contracts
